PAYTM T20 SERIES 2020 | INDIA – SRI LANKA | HOLKAR STADIUM | 7TH JANUARY 2020

It is a great honour for MPCA to host the International T20 match between India and Sri Lanka on 7^th January 2020 at Holkar Stadium, Indore. It will be a night match.

This will be the second T20 International match at Holkar Stadium after the maiden one played here in December 2017 – again between India and Sri Lanka.

International matches in Indore have always generated great interest among the cricket enthusiasts from the entire state, and MPCA always feels proud about the affection shown by the spectators.

Previous matches played here have created many records - not only in terms of cricketing aspects, but also the mesmerising attendance by spectators who have always been energetic and courteous throughout the match.

MPCA is pleased to announce the mode, dates – duration, etc. for purchase of tickets of the exclusive area for specially abled spectators for the India – Sri Lanka T20 International match at Indore.

• Tickets under 'Specially Abled Category' can be purchased from BOX OFFICE AT HOLKAR STADIUM(ENTRY FROM SATISH MALHOTRA GATE) starting from 11.00 a.m. on 2^nd January 2020 upto end of quota or 4.00 p.m.

If the quota remains unsold, tickets counter shall be reopen at 11.00 a.m. on 3^rd January 2020 and shall continue upto end of quota or 4.00 p.m.. Thereafter, the tickets would not be sold for this category.

• Only one ticket can be purchased by the person having a 'duly valid' certificate from the competent government authority (civil surgeon).
• MPCA shall require a photocopy of such certificate for office record.
• Original certificate should be produced while purchasing ticket.
• Any 'specially abled person' requiring a wheelchair for movement as per 'duly valid' certificate shall be provided with one complimentary ticket of same block. This ticket shall be used by the person attending / assisting the 'specially abled person' during his presence at the stadium.

MPCA is pleased to announce the rates of tickets for the India – Sri Lanka T20 International match.

• MPCA has engaged the services of the renowned agency - One97 Communications Ltd. (Paytm) for the sale of tickets using online system (i.e. online ticketing agency).Tickets can be booked using dedicated link for this match on the websites paytm.comand www.insider.in and mobile application of these two websites.
• The online tickets would be available for booking on 25 December 2019 from 6.00 am till further notice.
• The terms of use would appear on the website.
• The tickets booked through online system shall be redemeed (delivered) by courier service under the responsibility of the online ticketing agency. For tickets reserved through online system, MPCA shall bear the online management fee while the consumer will have to bear the payment gateway charges, along with tax thereon, and courier redemption charges. Details shall be available on the website.
• Children upto the age of 3 will not require a ticket. However, no separate chair / space would be allowed.

Through this first media release related to the T20 match, MPCA, is pleased to share significant information related to students concession tickets for the upcoming match, requesting the media representatives for extending appropriate publicity to the information in the interests of the students who would be eagerly looking forward to know the details –

1.1          As per the past practice, MPCA shall make available concession tickets to the students.

1.2          Such tickets shall be of East Stand (upper & lower) and upto a fixed quota for each section.

1.3          Each student can purchase only 1 ticket of any of the stands as above.

1.4          The students concession tickets can be availed through online system only using the website www.insider.in or the mobile application of insider.

1.5          Process for availing concession tickets shall have 2 stages –

First stage : Uploading necessary document by using the link available at above website and making payment. 

Second stage : Applications which are verified and found admissible shall receive the ticket appropriately. Whereas, applications which are verified and found inadmissible shall be refunded the face value amount of ticket.

1.6          The link for purchasing ticket shall be live at the above mentioned website from 6.00 a.m. on 20^th December 2019 and continue upto end of the quota of tickets OR 6.00 p.m. on 22^nd December 2019. If required, MPCA may extend the cut-off date / time.

1.7          Tickets purchased as above shall be delivered by courier service. MPCA and the online ticketing agency shall bear this cost without any burden on the student.

1.8          Norms related to students who can avail the facility ;

•      Students from standard first (1^st standard) onwards can subscribe to such tickets.
•      Students of 'Government Recognised Education Institutions' can only purchase such tickets.
•     'Government Recognised Education Institutions' means school, college, university, but does not include coaching classes or academy etc.
•      One student can purchase once with a combination of the name, email-id, mobile no., and education details.
•      Students will have to upload either of the following to support their status of being a student of defined institutions -  

        a. Photo identity card issued by the Institution for the current academic year i.e. 2019-20.

       Or   

        b. Photocopy of the 'progress report card' for the current academic year i.e. 2019-20.

       Or

        c. Photocopy of the 'mid-term exam result' for the current academic year i.e. 2019-20.

       Or

      d. A special form designed for students who do not have above documents. Such form should be duly filled under signature of the authority of the Education Institution.

1.9 The ticket rates for student concession category is as under -

The website www.insider.in and the mobile application shall have information screen displayed from 12 noon on 18^th December 2019 for awareness among interested students.

MPCA shall issue media release about other information in due course.
