Following the cancellation of the registration of the Jabalpur Divisional Cricket Association (JDCA) as a society under the Madhya Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 1973, by the Deputy Secretary of the Industrial Policy & Investment Promotion Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, in January 2025, the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) ensured continuity of cricketing activities in the Jabalpur Division. As an interim measure during the ongoing 2024–25 domestic cricket season, these activities were managed by MPCA with the support of a specially constituted panel.

After a comprehensive process, MPCA is pleased to announce that affiliation has been granted to the Mahakoushal Region Cricket Association (MRCA). This newly affiliated body will be responsible for overseeing and managing all cricketing affairs within the Jabalpur revenue division. The MRCA will commence its operations with effect from May 18, 2025, coinciding with the conclusion of MPCA’s domestic cricket activities.

Mr. Siddharth Patel is the President of MRCA, while Mr. Suresh Verma is the Honorary Secretary.

MPCA extends its best wishes to the Mahakoushal Region Cricket Association and its office-bearers for a successful and progressive tenure in the administration of cricket in the Jabalpur division.
