MEDIA RELEASE (FIRST)

It is a great honour for MPCA to host the International T20 match between India and South Africa on 4^th October 2022 at Holkar Stadium, Indore. It will be a night match starting at 7.00 p.m..

This will be the third T20 International match at Holkar Stadium after the maiden one played here in December 2017 and January 2020 (both matches were played between India and Sri Lanka).

International matches in Indore have always generated great interest among the cricket enthusiasts from the entire state, and MPCA is always indebted to the spectators for their love and affection.

Previous matches played here have created many records - not only in terms of cricketing aspects, but also the mesmerising attendance by spectators who have always been energetic and courteous throughout the match.

Through this first media release related to the upcoming T20 match between India and South Africa, MPCA is pleased to share significant information related to tickets of the section earmarked for (1) Students (2) Women.

We request the media to extend appropriate publicity in the interests of the aforementioned categories of game lovers who would be eagerly looking forward to know the details –

Regarding Student Concession Tickets

• As per the past practice, MPCA shall make available concession tickets to the students.
• Such tickets shall be of East Stand (Lower and II floor) and upto a fixed quota for each section.
• Each student can purchase only 1 ticket of any of the stands as above, subject to availability.
• The students concession tickets can be availed through online system only using the website insider.in or the mobile application of insider (mobile app. by name Paytm Insider).
• Process for availing concession tickets shall have 2 stages –

First stage : Uploading necessary document by using the link available at above website / mobile app.

Second stage : The document shall be checked and approved / rejected. Upon approval of the document, the concerned applicant shall receive an email with a link to purchase the ticket by paying the ticket amount. After successful payment, they shall receive a ticket booking confirmation by email. The ticket shall be delivered by courier.

The link for registration for this ticket category shall be live at the above mentioned website / mobile app from 11.00 a.m. on 18^th September 2022 and continue upto end of the quota of tickets OR 5.00 p.m. on 20^th September 2022. If required, MPCA may extend the cut-off date / time.

• Tickets purchased as above shall be delivered by courier service. MPCA and the online ticketing agency shall bear this cost without any burden on the student.
• Norms related to students who can avail the facility :
• Students from standard first (1^st standard) onwards can apply for such ticket.
• Students of 'Government Recognised Education Institutions' can only apply for such ticket.
• 'Government Recognised Education Institutions' means school, college, university, but does not include coaching classes or academy etc.
• One student can apply only once with an email address.
• Students will have to upload either of the following to support their status of being a student of defined institutions –

23. Photo identity card issued by the Institution for the academic year 2021-22 or 2022-23. Or
24. 'Progress report card' for the academic year 2021-22 or 2022-23. Or
25. 'Mid-term exam result' for the current academic year 2022-23. Or
26. A special form designed for students who do not have above documents. Such form should be duly filled under signature of the authority of the Education Institution.

The above referred website and the mobile application shall have information screen displayed from 9 am on 18^th September 2022 for awareness among interested students.

Regarding 'Women's Block'

• This block shall provide access ONLY to 'WOMAN SPECTATOR'
• The objective of creating such exclusive block for women's is to encourage female cricket fans to enjoy the live action from the stadium.
• Such tickets shall be of South Pavilion (Lower) and West Stand (Lower ) upto a fixed quota for each section.
• Each female can purchase only 2 tickets of any of the stands as above.
• The tickets for the 'Women's Block' can be availed through online system only using the website insider.in or the mobile application of insider (mobile app. by name Paytm Insider).

• Process for availing tickets shall have 2 stages –

Second stage : The document shall be checked and approved / rejected. Upon approval of the document, the concerned applicant shall receive an email with a link to purchase the ticket by paying the ticket amount. • Valid Driving License. OR

• A male child upto age of 12 years can accompany a female spectator in this block.
• The ticket rates for 'Women's Block' is as under -

Purchaser will bear the courier charges and the payment gateway charges / convenience fee.

The above referred website and the mobile application shall have information screen displayed from 9 am on 18^th September 2022 for awareness among interested female spectators.
