INDIA - BANGLADESH TEST MATCH 14 NOV. - 18 NOV. 2019

It is a great honour for MPCA to host the International Test match between India and Bangladesh, starting on 14.11.2019 at Holkar Stadium, Indore. This will be the second Test match at Holkar Stadium after the historic maiden Test played here in October 2016.

International matches in Indore have always generated great interest among the cricket enthusiasts from the entire state, and MPCA always feels proud about the affection shown by the spectators.

Previous matches played here have created many records - not only in terms of cricketing aspects, but also the mesmerising attendance by spectators who have always been energetic and courteous throughout the match.

In this section, we shall place all possible information releated to the upcoming Test.

 

Date : 10.11.2019 MEDIA RELEASE (SIXTH)

The unsold quota of 'students concession' season ticket of East Lower and West Lower shall be available online from 9.00 p.m on 11th November 2019. Online site - www.paytm.com and www.insider.in and mobile application of these two websites.

Online link for any category of season ticket shall be mandatorily closed at 5.00 p.m. on 13th November 2019. In case if the quota of any category gets over before this time, appropriate message shall be displayed on the websites.

  • MPCA shall start selling daily tickets of the India – Bangladesh Test match from the Box office at Nehru Stadium, Indore (Capt. Mushtaq Ali gate) from 12.00 noon on 12thNovember 2019.
  • Quantity of tickets shall be subject to availability.
  • Purchase can be for one day or maximum 2 days as stated below. The number of tickets given to any person shall be maximum 4 (either day or two days combined. Tickets of only one stand be purchased.
  • A self attested photocopy of government issued identity card is required for purchase.
  • Tickets shall be available only against cash.

MPCA is pleased to announce the mode, dates – duration, etc. for purchase of season tickets of the exclusive area for specially abled spectators for the India – Bangladesh Test match at Indore.

  • Tickets under 'Specially Abled Category' can be purchased from BOX OFFICE AT HOLKAR STADIUM(ENTRY FROM SATISH MALHOTRA GATE) starting from 11.00 a.m. on 9th November 2019 upto end of quota or 4.00 p.m.
  • If the quota remains unsold, tickets counter shall be reopen at 11.00 a.m. on 10thNovember 2019 upto end of quota or 4.00 p.m.. Thereafter, the tickets would not be sold for this category.
  • There shall not be any daily tickets for this category.  
  • Only one ticket can be purchased by the person having a 'duly valid' certificate from the competent government authority (civil surgeon).
  • MPCA shall require a photocopy of such certificate for office record.
  • Original certificate should be produced while purchasing ticket.
  • Any 'specially abled person' requiring a wheelchair for movement as per 'duly valid' certificate shall be provided with one complementary ticket of same block. This ticket shall be used by the person attending / assisting the 'specially abled person' during his presence at the stadium.

 MPCA is pleased to announce the mode, dates – duration, etc. for purchase of season tickets (other than students' concession and specially abled spectators) for the India – Bangladesh Test match at Indore.

  • Following category of tickets can be booked only throughonline system.
  • General Tickets        b. 'Women's Only Block' Tickets
  • Tickets can be booked using link for this match on the websites - paytm.comand www.insider.in and mobile application of these two websites.
  • Booking link shall be active from 00 a.m. on 3rdNovember 2019 upto end of the seats of respective stands/tiers etc OR 6.00 p.m. on 10th November 2019. However, MPCA may extend the cut-off time depending upon the circumstances, OR decide whether to start sale of 'Daily Tickets'. Details shall be communicated appropriately.  
  • All tickets booked using online ticketing service upto 6.00 p.m. on 8thNovember 2019 shall be delivered to home by help of renowned courier service agency – BLUEDART. The courier delivery is the responsibility of online ticketing agency. For the tickets booked after 6.00 p.m. on 8th November 2019, the ticketing agency shall communicate the mode of delivery depending upon circumstances.
  • MPCA shall bear the online management fee while the consumer will have to bear the payment gateway charges, along with tax thereon, and courier redemption charges. Details shall be available on the website. 
  • The online ticketing agency may voluntarily provide any additional service like 'movie cash-back voucher' etc. per transaction.

Specific Terms & Conditions :     

  • Maximum 4 ticketsof single stand category can be booked per attempt. The terms of use would appear on the website. Thereafter, the user-id shall be blocked for repeat purchase for 24 hours.
  • Children upto the age of 3 will not require a ticket. However, no separate chair / space would be allowed to any child upto 3 years. 
  • There shall not be any 'seat selection' system. Tickets will be randomly allotted for any category and shall be mentioned on the physical ticket.
  • Purchaser will have to submit details of personal identity like adhar number / PAN card number / Driving License number / Passport No. etc) while purchasing tickets as displayed on the link.
  • Ticket once booked will not be refunded unless otherwise specifically notified by MPCA.
  • Entry to the stadium shall be subject to terms & conditions which shall be printed on the reverse side of the ticket, or any other norm widely published.

'WOMEN'S ONLY BLOCK' : MPCA has arranged this facility ONLY for the Women spectators, aiming to provide an 'exclusive' area for women spectators at the designated stands. Such woman spectator should not be accompanied by any male person. Male child between age of 3 to 12 years can get a seat in this area provided a separate ticket of same section in subscribed. If any male person (other than the child upto 12 years) tries to enter this area even with an 'accidently' purchased ticket, MPCA shall not provide entry to such person inside the stadium. MPCA shall not refund the ticket so purchased.

MPCA, is pleased to share significant information related to students concession tickets for the upcoming match, with a request to the media for giving due coverage to the information in the interests of the students who would be eagerly looking forward to know the details –

  • As per the past practice, MPCA shall make available concession tickets to the students.
  • Such tickets shall be of East Stand (upper & lower), and West Stand (lower), and upto a fixed quota for each section.
  • Only season tickets can be availed under this category.
  • The students concession tickets can be availed through online system only.
  • Each student can avail only 1 ticket of the stands as above.
  • Process for availing concession tickets shall have 2 stages –

          First stage : Requires the interested students to register on the website www.insider.in

          Second stage : Applications which are verified and found admissible can buy the tickets as per process stated.

  • One student can register for 1 ticket only (subject to conditions)
  • The link for registration shall be available at the above mentioned website from 10.00 a.m. on 1st November 2019 upto end of the quota for registration OR 11.59 p.m. on 4th November 2019.
  • The quota of 'registration requests' shall be 200 more than the quota of actual seats allocated for the category of student concession. This additional number of 200 is provided to accommodate request from additional 200 students in place of any rejected application (if any). Once the 'registration requests' exceed the above quota, the link shall be deactivated immediately. In case if all such registration requests are found acceptable (i.e. designated quota + extra 200 nos), MPCA shall register all such students, but not anymore.
  • Upon successful registration within the time and by uploading required supporting document, the online ticketing agency shall scrutinise the registration forms.
  • ONLY UPON REGISTRATION, the applications which are found valid shall receive confirmation from the 'Online Ticketing agency' by way of email/sms till 7.00 p.m. on 5th November 2019.
  • This sms / email shall provide details for buying the ticket, which shall be used by the applicant till 7.00 pm on 7th November 2019, and not beyond that. This shall be the second stage of the process.
  • Tickets purchased as above shall be delivered by courier service. MPCA and the online ticketing agency shall bear this cost without any burden on the student.

Norms related to students who can avail the facility ;

  • Students from standard first (1st standard) onwards can subscribe to such tickets.
  • Students of 'Government Recognised Education Institutions' can only purchase such tickets.
  • 'Government Recognised Education Institutions' means school, college, university, but does not include coaching classes or academy etc.
  • Students desirous to register will have to fill in basic details like name, email id, mobile no. etc.
  • One student can register once with a combination of the name, email-id, mobile no., and education details.
  • Students will have to upload either of the following to support their status of being a student of defined institutions –
  • A) Photo identity card issued by the Institution for the current academic year i.e. 2019-20, Or
  • B) Photocopy of the 'progress report card' for the current academic year i.e. 2019-20, OR
  • C) Photocopy of the 'mid-term exam result' for the current academic year i.e. 2019-20, OR
  • D) A special form designed for students who do not have above documents. Such form should be duly filled and signature of the School Authority be obtained.

The website www.insider.in shall have information screen displayed from 12 noon on 31st October 2019 for awareness among interested students.
